Sparklight has partnered with Keep America Beautiful to host a free electronic recycling event in Aransas Pass on Friday, Nov. 15, as part of America Recycles Day. Items will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sparklight office at 1045 S. Commercial St. in Aransas Pass, Texas.
“We are committed to caring for our communities here on the Texas Coast, and given the nature of our business, we understand the importance of finding safe and environmentally friendly ways to dispose of used and outdated electronics,” said Sparklight’s Texas Coast General Manager Juli Blanda. “We are excited to be able to offer this recycling option for residents in our region.”
The following items will be accepted for recycling:
- Computers & Cords
- Printers & Faxes
- Keyboards
- Speakers
- Scanners
The following items cannot be accepted:
- Batteries & Biohazard
- Liquids
- Large Appliances
- Copy Machines
America Recycles Day, a Keep America Beautiful national initiative, is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States.
