Sparklight®, a member of the Cable One family of brands, was recently named “Best Internet Provider” by Twin Falls Times-News readers in the 2022 Magic Valley Readers’ Choice special section.

Community members were invited to vote in the 2022 Magic Valley Readers’ Choice special section for their favorite businesses earlier this summer.

“We’re honored to receive this award voted on by community members who support Sparklight and our commitment to providing high-value internet service and a quality customer experience,” said Sparklight General Manager Russ Young. “We will continue to invest in our infrastructure in order to bring the latest technology and fastest speeds to our customers, while contributing to the economic development of Twin Falls.”

Sparklight currently offers speeds up to 1 Gigabit for residential customers and up to 5 Gigabits for business customers. With investments of nearly $950 million over the past three years across the company’s footprint – $15 million of that in Twin Falls – the company is laying the groundwork to launch speeds as fast as 10 Gigabits (10G) and beyond. Delivering speed 10 times faster than today’s networks, 10G will transform the customer experience, creating new possibilities for smart cities, connected homes, virtual and augmented reality and business.

The company is also committed to strengthening Twin Falls through donations of time and resources, including the Sparklight Charitable Giving Fund, which annually awards $250,000 in grants, concentrating support in the areas of education, digital literacy, hunger relief and community development; its Chromebooks for Kids initiative, through which Sparklight has donated nearly 3,000 Chromebooks to Title I schools since 2014; partnerships with the Arbor Day Foundation and Keep America Beautiful; and most importantly, the volunteer efforts of Sparklight associates at local Twin Falls non-profit organizations, including the South Central Community Action Partnership, Magic Valley Festival of Giving, Rotary Club of Twin Falls and more.

Most recently, Sparklight is honoring teachers who are making a difference in their schools and communities as part of the internet service provider’s “A Stronger Connection” social media campaign.  Ten K-12 teachers throughout the communities in the 21 states Sparklight serves will be awarded $1,500 each.
