Cable ONE GigaONE Gigabit service is now available to residential customers across more than 95 percent of its legacy footprint, making more than 200 communities across the country, “Gigabit cities.”
While only 39 percent of Americans living in rural communities have access to 25 Mbps service*, Cable ONE is focused on providing all customers in Cable ONE markets with access to speeds from 100Mbps up to 1GB.
“In an effort to eliminate the digital divide in the communities we serve, we envisioned providing every customer in our footprint with access to Gigabit service, no matter where they live,” said Julie Laulis, Cable ONE President and CEO. “We are proud to say we are very close to reaching that goal in our legacy markets and we are thrilled to support the technology needs of the communities we serve – now and in the future.”
Cable ONE Business has offered dedicated fiber optic services with up to 10GB symmetrical speeds for nearly a decade to Enterprise businesses and offers more customized options for small to medium-sized businesses, including 500Mpbs service.
Cable ONE has invested more than $700 million over the past five years on network upgrades and enhancements in order to bring the latest technology and fastest speeds to its customers.
“Our extensive fiber network deployment and continued investment in improving and expanding our network enables us to provide the speed that our residential and business customers need, while helping to drive economic development in the communities we serve,” Laulis said.
