Cable ONE Sorts Three Tons of Food at West Texas Food Bank

Sorting food at a West Texas food bank

More than 40 Cable ONE Odessa associates and their families recently spent the  day volunteering at the West Texas Food Bank.

Volunteers sorted and packed more than three tons of food for children in support of the West Texas Food Bank’s “Food 2 Kids Program.” The food packed will go to children who normally don’t have a regular meal between their Friday school lunch and Monday.

“Supporting Odessans who are chronically hungry or striving for a better education is a commitment Cable ONE will continue to fulfill,” said Cable ONE General Manager David Williams. “We are grateful to our associates, their families and friends for volunteering at the West Texas Food Bank and supporting our mission of making a positive impact in our community.”
